If you want to purchase a digital camera, you really must have at least some idea of what you need to look out for and avoid. You don’t have to be an expert, but you must at least know some basics to make sure you don’t end up with an inadequate camera for your digital photography. The following is a series of things you need to understand and look out for, there there is less plus several things you must avoid.
1. megapixels:
From a basic standpoint, generally speaking the more megapixels a digital camera has the higher quality images it will be capable of outputting. You will find that with the higher end more professional digital cameras (8 to 12 plus megapixels) the image quality will also be increased significantly depending on the quality of the cameras lenses, but for lower end digital cameras this will have less effect.
Now in regard to the number of megapixels, there is one thing you really do need to look out for. It is vitally important that you read the small print as it were on the digital camera. You see many digital camera manufacturers will have you believe there camera is capable of a higher number of megapixels then it really is.

Digital photography has changed the way photography is viewed and the edge that many professionals had has closed a little. Composition is what makes a photograph interesting, and it also keeps your viewer engaged. In order to improve your composition, just follow these tips. If you are just starting out with photography, it may take you a while to develop an “eye” for composition, but don’t worry because you will improve.
1. It is important to always keep composition in mind. It is not a good idea to rely on cropping your photo afterward. You may want to crop some photos, but it is not a good idea to spend a lot of time cropping all your photos in order to get a great one.
2. Subject placement is the first thing to consider. Rarely do you want to place your subject in the middle of the frame. Instead, place your subject in a “sweet spot.”
In order to visualize these sweet spots, imagine a blank, rectangular photo. Imagine 2 vertical lines breaking the frame into 3 equal parts. Next, 2 horizontal lines will break the frame into 3 equal parts. These lines will intersect in 4 spots, and these are the sweet spots. These sweet spots are the places to put your subject for a great photo.

The people that use genuine marine digital cameras are those where it is usually used in the course of their work as these cameras are very expensive Studying the life below the surface, marine digital cameras are only normally within the realm of marine biologists and other nautical scientists Waterproofing a camera is not an easy thing to do so many, so called, marine cameras aren’t really designed for that type of work
I for one would love to have a proper marine digital camera but this is not likely to happen and I really don’t go into the sea often enough to make it worthwhile.
There is lack of real marine cameras owing to the problems of water ingress in to the camera and of water pressure Manufacturers have found it is easier just design a watertight case that goes around the digital camera instead. This type of casing will turn your conventional digital camera into an marine digital camera.
If you are shooting with your marine digital camera, you need to take note of a few things to help you come up with the best underwater images.
