Are you new to collecting Superman memorabilia? Or maybe you have a collection but it’s been tough adding new items? You need to do more than go to your local stores.
There are lots of great ways to start your collection of Superman memorabilia, and also some good ways of adding to your collection too. Check out the tips below for some good ideas:
1. Check out local garage sales. This is a hit and miss kind of thing, but if you start checking out local garage sales, you might find some real bargain. It’s not out of the question to find great comic books, for example, for under a dollar.
2. eBay. You can find anything at eBay - seriously. Just make sure you check the seller’s feedback, and don’t get so excited about a find that you bid too high for it. Always know what your budget is and stick to it. Don’t forget to use all the great tools eBay provides, too, for monitoring auctions.
3. Tell your friends. And then get them to tell their friends. Don’t forget your family, and your friends’ families. And when you have to go out anywhere, casually mention to everyone you talk to that you’re an avid collector of Superman memorabilia. You’ll end up with lots of people looking out for stuff for you.
4. Search online. Sticking to local stores won’t do much to add to your collection - you’ll find soon enough that you’ve exhausted the possibilities. A site like Surfilicious, for example, can help out when it comes to Superman jewelry, like rings or pendants.
